A Gastonia woman faces drug charges after being arrested Monday night in Lincoln County, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

Emily Kacey Robbins, 34, was charged with felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of marijuana, authorities said. She was released under $5,000 bond, according to deputies.

Investigators said a tip led them to conduct surveillance near a High Shoals business Monday night. Deputies said they saw the occupants of two vehicles involved in an apparent drug transaction.

Investigators said the deputies stopped both vehicles nearby, and Robbins was arrested.
