Three arrests made in Fuquay-Varina double homicide

Wake County sheriff’s deputies have arrested three men in last month's Fuquay-Varina double homicide.

Gregory Adalverto Crawford, 21, of Fuquay-Varina, and Kevin Bernard Britt, 20, of of Holly Springs were first arrested in connection with the July shooting deaths of Arthur Lee Brown, 78 and David McKoy, 66.

Donovan Jevonte Richardson, 21, of Holly Springs surrendered himself at the Wake County Jail Sunday morning.

Crawford, Britt, and Richardson each face two counts of murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, burglary, and conspiracy to commit burglary.

Investigators believe the crimes occurred either late Thursday night on July 17 or the morning of Friday July 18.
