Monroe police have charged three men in connection with an alleged home invasion Sunday night, authorities say.
The three are accused of forcing their way into a home in the 200 block of Venus Street. Monroe police said they tied up at least one victim and, armed with a handgun, stole money.
The three were arrested Tuesday, with the help of Union County sheriff’s deputies, investigators said. Each suspect is charged with first-degree burglary, robbery with a dangerous weapon, larceny of a firearm, and four counts of kidnapping.
They were identified as Randall Andrew Miller, 21; Princeton Patterson, 27; and Willie Lamar Rushing, 26. Police said Miller was arrested at his home on Nance Tarlton Road near Marshville, and Patterson was arrested at his home on Crestway Court in Marshville. Rushing was arrested during a vehicle stop about a mile from Miller’s house, on Nance Tarlton Road, according to police.
Each of the men was jailed under $200,000 bond, according to authorities.
