Man struck by train in Salisbury, killed

A Salisbury man was struck by a passenger train and killed on Wednesday.

Police identified the man as 49-year-old Kelly Scott Daniels.

The train was between Knox Street and Military Avenue headed north when personnel saw a man walking on the track around 1 p.m. They sounded the horn, police said, but the train couldn’t stop in time. Cleve R. Wootson Jr.
