A home health care nurse has been arrested and charged after a debit card belonging to a man she was caring for was used to order items from Footaction, authorities said.

Shira Roseboro, 28, of Statesville was charged with financial transaction card fraud and identity theft. She was jailed under a $2,000 secured bond.

Roseboro is a certified nursing assistant who provided home health care to the victim, Iredell County Sheriff Phil Redmond said Friday.

Investigators learned that the $315.38 Footaction order was being shipped to Roseboro’s home, Redmond said.
