Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are investigating an alleged rape that occurred early Saturday in uptown Charlotte, Police Capt. G. Farley said.

A 47-year-old woman told police that between 2 and 4 a.m. Saturday, a man forced her to “have sexual intercourse against her will” at 300 South College Street, according to police reports.
