Three people on a bicycle were rear ended and hit with food by motorists Tuesday night in Rock Hill, police say.
A 20-year-old woman was riding with two minors on her blue Roadmaster bicycle on Iredell Street when a driver in a silver Nissan hit her from behind, a Rock Hill Police report states.
The driver yelled an expletive at the cyclist, and the passenger threw a plate of food at the riders, according to police. One of the woman’s passengers was thrown forward from the bike and a handlebar jabbed her in the leg.
The injured rider said her neck and head were hurting from the collision, and she requested emergency medical services. The Roadmaster was bent by the hit and run. There was no sign of the suspects’ car in sight.
