Stanly authorities probe $200,000 farm equipment theft

Investigators in Stanly County are asking the public’s help in solving the theft of more than $200,000 worth of farm equipment.

Investigators in Stanly County are asking the public’s help in solving the theft of more than $200,000 worth of farm equipment.

Sheriff’s deputies said someone stole a 1990 John Deere 4455 tractor and a Luck Now feed mixer. The equipment was taken sometime late Sunday or early Monday from the 42700 block of Loop Road in Norwood.

Investigators said the tractor has been entered in a national database of stolen motor vehicles.
