The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in identifying two people suspected of illegally using a bank card to make several purchases last month.
Investigators said a man reported his debit card fell out of his pocket Oct. 10 while he was coaching his son’s football team at Scott’s Creek Elementary School in northwest Iredell County.
The man said he received a call from his bank the next morning and learned the debit card had been used fraudulently several times. The card was used to make purchases at four different retail stores, according to the sheriff’s office.
Investigators have released surveillance video photos showing a man and a woman who might have been involved in using the card.
