Gastonia police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect in a fraud case.
Police said a woman used the personal information of a resident of Glenn Allen, Va., to open and access several credit accounts and make purchases in Gastonia, Charlotte and Pineville.
The suspect was in Gastonia at least on Sept. 20, 21 and 22, and her image was captured on store surveillance video, police said.
The suspect is described as a black female with short hair who was wearing a multicolored tank top, blue jeans and gray shoes.
