Concord police are investigating a shooting that claimed the life of a man Wednesday.
Investigators said a woman came into the police department’s lobby on Cabarrus Avenue shortly after 2 p.m., asking for help. She said a man had been shot elsewhere, and she had driven the victim to the police station for help.
Officers ran to the vehicle and said they found an unresponsive man sitting in the right front passenger seat. The man appeared to have been shot, police said.
Police and medics from Concord Fire & Life Safety and Cabarrus EMS tried unsuccessfully to revive the man.
The victim was identified as Andres Alberto Martinez Trouch, 31, of Concord.
