12 more Charlotte-area students get Merit Scholarships

National Merit Scholarship Corp. announced 12 more Charlotte-area winners of $2,500 scholarships. The designees were chosen from among more than 15,000 finalists judged to have the strongest combination of accomplishments, skills and potential for success in rigorous college studies.
