Dalrymple, Allison to head CPCC board

Ed Dalrymple and Judy Allison have been elected officers of the CPCC Board of Trustees.
Dalrymple, managing principal of CAPTRUST Financial Advisors, will succeed Ralph Pitts as chair of the board. Pitts, whose term on the board expires in June, has been a CPCC board member for more than 15 years.
Allison, a retired First Union Corp. executive, was elected vice chair. She succeeds Jane Cooper, an 18-year board member whose term expires in June.
Dalrymple was appointed to the CPCC board by then-Gov. Mike Easley in 2008. Allison was appointed in 2010 by the Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners.
Dalrymple is a graduate of Wake Forest University (bachelor’s) and Duke University (master’s). He also is an executive board member with the Mecklenburg County Boy Scouts of America. Allison, a graduate of Queens University of Charlotte, is an elder and is active in several groups at First Presbyterian Church in Charlotte.
