Griffin captures Cleveland coroner run-off

It will be Tott Griffin facing Robert Griffin in November in the Cleveland County Coroner’s general election.

Tott Griffin on Tuesday won a Democratic primary run-off election over Randy Walker. Griffin had 57.9 percent of the votes, to 42.1 percent for Walker. In the May primary, Griffin had finished first with 37.35 percent, to 32.86 percent for Walker.

Tott Griffin and Robert Griffin, a Republican, are vying to replace Dwight Tessneer, who is not seeking re-election.
