Police have confirmed that one swimmer is missing in Myrtle Beach.
“Resources have been deployed in the water,” said Lt. Joey Crosby of the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
Crews from MBPD and the U.S. Coast Guard are searching for the missing swimmer near 73rd Avenue North.
“Two swimmers were in distress while in the ocean. Lifeguards and a bystander were able to rescue one of the swimmers,” Crosby said.
