The Dolphins' "wildcat" offense is getting lots of pregame attention because of the news that running back Ronnie Brown has been lost for the season with an injured foot. Miami will probably stay with the wildcat, with players like running back Ricky Williams and rookie backup quarterback Pat White running it. The Dolphins probably aren't ready to put the game entirely in the hands of starting quarterback Chad Henne, who has started six games and has four touchdown passes and five interceptions.
-- The Panthers running game gets a stiff test, especially with guard Mackenzy Bernadeau getting his first career start: Miami allows 3.7 yards per rush.
-- Panthers defensive tackle Damione Lewis says Williams, now 32, is one of the top 5 running backs he's ever played against (when Williams was younger with the Saints).
-- The Dolphins start a pair of rookie cornerbacks. Vontae Davis has two interceptions, one of them coming against New England two weeks ago when he out-jumped Randy Moss for the ball. That was impressive (but watch for Jake Delhomme to pick on Davis and Sean Smith).
