Boys' Key Returnees: Anthony Gill, 6-8, Jr., F; Akil Mitchell, 6-5, Sr., F; Corbin Harris, 5-10, Sr., G; Trent Walker, 6-1, Jr., G; Reynolds Maharajh, 6-0, Sr., G

Boys' Notable: Gill has verbally committed to South Carolina. Mitchell will sign with Virginia Friday. The Knights reached the N.C. 3A Independent semifinals before losing to eventual state champion Ardren Christ School. Three Knights from that team are playing Division I: Willis Hall is starting at College of Charleston, Carson Sullivan is Penn and Taylor Wagener is at Wofford.

Girls Coach: Danny McDowell

2008-09 Girls Record: 7-19

Girls' Key Returners: Morgan Kirk, Jr., G; Megan Dennehy, Sr., G; Christal Barnett, Jr., G

Girls' Notable: Freshman 6-3 center Gigi Bailey was on the Knights middle school team last season but is considered one of the nation's top recruits in her class.
