Tee Ballard, Rock Hill: 13 points, 14 rebounds, two steals, two assists and a block in a 77-37 win over Mauldin. Rikoya Anderson added 14 points, nine rebounds and three steals for Rock Hill (21-3), No. 7 in the Observer’s Sweet 16.
Savannah Brown, Hickory Grove: on her birthday, Brown had 13 points, 10 rebounds and six steals in a 53-39 win over Forsyth Country Day in the N.C. Independent Schools playoffs. The win gave Hickory Grove back-to-back 20-win seasons for the first time in eight years.
Nia Daniel, Hickory Ridge: 17 points, six steals and five rebounds in a 101-10 win over Garinger in the opening round of the Southwestern 4A tournament. Teammates Rinnah Green (14 points, three steals), Reigan Richadson (12 points, four rebounds, three steals, two assists) and Gabby Smith (11 points, three steals) all played well.
Claudia Dickey, Charlotte Latin: UNC signee had 13 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in a 46-34 win over Greensboro Day. It was her third triple-double this season. Teammate Kathryn Vandiver was honored after the game for scoring her 1,000th point.
Olivia King, Gaston Day: 23 points, 16 rebounds in a 67-57 NCISAA 2A first-round playoff win over Salem Baptist. Teammate Zaria Clark had 17 points, nine rebounds and four assists for Gaston Day, which plays a second round game at Carmel Christian Thursday at 6.
