First Team

F: Blair Anderes, Myers Park, Jr.: All-state forward had 29 goals, 12 assists, being heavily recruited by Charlotte, Georgia, Ole Miss and more.

F: Chandler Arrowood, Weddington, Sr.: Western Carolina signee made big plays consistently with 26 goals, 28 assists for 3A state runner-up Warriors.

F: Lauren Lucas, Providence Day, Jr.: All-state selection led Chargers with 16 goals, Dartmouth commit.

F: Julia Grainda, Community School of Davidson, So.: All-state pick led Spartans with 23 goals, broke her leg in 1A state semifinal, has 43 goals in two seasons.

F: Maggie Wadsworth, Weddington, So.: Emerged as an all-state playmaker for Warriors with 31 goals, 24 assists.

M: Courtney Carroll, Hough, Sr.: All-state pick, Ole Miss signee led Husky offense with 29 goals, 21 assists.

M: Virginia McNeill, Myers Park, Sr.: All-state senior, four-year starter powered a Mustang offense that produced 145 goals with 24 scores, nine assists, Samford University signee.

M: Ellie Deaver, Providence, Jr.: Charlotte 49ers’ commit had a school-record 30 goals, earned all-state honors.

M: Amanda Karlsson, Lake Norman, Sr.: All-state performer, Ole Miss signee had 17 goals, 20 assists, also in the U20 Swedish National team pool.

M: Cannon Clough, Charlotte Latin, Sr.: Charlotte 49ers’ signee led Hawks with 17 goals, 11 assists, an all-state pick as she shifted from defense to the midfield.

D: Megan Goodling, Myers Park, Jr.: Davidson commit was the “heart” of stingy Mustang defense, all-state pick.

D: Justine Lockman, Lake Norman, Sr.: Another Charlotte 49ers’ signee, all-state defender also had five goals, four assists.

D: Jessie Herfurth, Hickory, Sr.: All-state defender also Northwest 3A/4A conference player of the year.

D: Rebecca Kuzmanovich, Community School of Davidson, Jr.: Spartans’ team captain, all-state performer was big part of a defense that had 10 shutouts in 19 games.

GK: Marnie Merritt, Hough, Sr.: All-American, all-state, Ole Miss signee was off the charts in goal again with 21 shutouts in 27 games, allowed only nine goals all season.
