Salisbury’s Bill Naves ‘just can’t stop’ drag racing

For more than 25 years, Salisbury resident Bill Naves has piloted a Top Alcohol Funny Car. Now at age 59, Naves says he tells himself every year he’s getting too old to continue drag racing, but he just can’t stop. “I guess it defines who I am,” Naves said.
