Charlotte Bobcats, Wells Fargo give wounded Marine a house

The Charlotte Bobcats and Wells Fargo gave a wounded Marine and his wife a house during a recognition ceremony in the second quarter of Wednesday’s Bobcats-Brooklyn Nets game.

The Charlotte Bobcats and Wells Fargo gave a wounded Marine and his wife a house during a recognition ceremony in the second quarter of Wednesday’s Bobcats-Brooklyn Nets game.

Carl Morgan received a Purple Heart and a medical retirement from the Marines after being injured by an improvised explosive device while serving in Afghanistan. The Bobcats and Wells Fargo surprised Morgan and his wife with the gift of a mortgage-free home.

Morgan, who grew up in Lowell, Mass., and his family have been living off-base of late in Jacksonville, N.C. Rick Bonnell
