Never miss a local story.

• That was a loud and engaged crowd in Greenville, S.C. You never know what sort of reaction pro teams will receive in a college-oriented town, but the Upstate was into the NBA on Friday. The Hornets should play there regularly in the preseason.
• It’s a bit of a reach to have to play Jannero Pargo at shooting guard. Pargo was up for it, but it was hard for him to match up physically.
