Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams did not participate in practice Wednesday as he continues to nurse a fracture in his right hand.
Williams worked on the exercise bike and ran hard on the side, and coach Ron Rivera said the team will continue to monitor the swelling in his hand.
Defensive end Mario Addison (foot), defensive tackle Star Lotulelei (ankle), tight end Greg Olsen (knee) and offensive lineman Amini Silatolu (knee) also did not practice.
Lotulelei rolled his ankle against Philadelphia four weeks ago and has not played since. The original timetable was to return at Minnesota following the bye week, but he’s still out.
Lotulelei has 17 tackles and four quarterback pressures in his second year with Carolina. The former first-round pick doesn’t have a sack this season.
“There’s some games I’ve done better than I have in other games,” Lotulelei said. “There’s games where I made a little more plays than I have in other games. So I’ve been a little up and down.”
