On third-and-11 from the Tampa 40, Bucs’ wide receiver Sammie Stroughter beat Panthers’ cornerback Chris Gamble on a 29-yard pass reception from Josh Johnson to the Carolina 31 to set up a TD.

Tampa Bay kicker Shane Andrus had a chance to give the Bucs a 10-0 lead, but missed a 43-yard field goal attempt after a less than stellar snap from the long snapper.
