DeCock: It’s anyone’s Open, from Sam Love to Shane Lowry

Shane Lowry came out of the same English qualifying tournament that served as Michael Campbell’s springboard to the US Open title at Pinehurst in 2005. In a truly open Open, Lowry’s chances of winning probably aren’t much different than recent UAB grad Sam Love, the last player into the field.
