Observations: Duke vs. Radford

Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski couldn't say enough about Radford's Artsiom Parakhouski. The big 6-foot-11, 270-pound forward from Belarus won Coach K's admiration with 23 points and 14 rebounds, both game highs.

"He'd play for anybody in our league," Coach K said. "He's better in person than he is on tape."

ACC fans might remember Parakhouski from Radford's first-round loss to UNC in last season's NCAA Tournament. He had 10 points and 10 boards against the Tar Heels in a 101-58 loss.

Duke posted back-to-back 100-point games for the first time since the 2000-01 season. The Devils were 12 of 21 from 3-point range in a 101-59 win over Charlotte on Tuesday, giving them 30 3s in two games.

Senior guard Jon Scheyer finished his fourth turnover-free game. In 133 minutes, he has 21 assists and no turnovers. In addition to the decision-making he adds to Duke's offense when he runs the point, he allows Nolan Smith to play off the ball.

Smith has been much looser and more aggressive without the responsibility of running the team. He scored 20 points for the second straight game after going the first 68 games of his career with only one.
