Huntersville woman stays alive in 'Biggest Loser' competition

Emily Joy survived another week on NBC's "The Biggest Loser" Tuesday night.

The Huntersville resident was able to survive last night's round, but it was not easy for her. She had to lose seven pounds in her head-to-head competition but only lost six pounds.

"I just know what I use to be able to do, and what I am doing now, it sucks," Joy said after her disappointing weigh-in.

However, Joy's team won the overall match-up which kept her away from elimination.

The 29-year-old teacher began the competition weighing 264 pounds and has high blood pressure. She used to be a junior Olympian in weight lifting, and lost four pounds in the weigh-in last week.

Joy is competing for a $250,000 grand prize.
