Miranda Lambert has postponed her scheduled concert Thursday night in Charlotte, tour promoters said Wednesday.
Lambert also has postponed scheduled concerts Friday in Lexington, Ky., and Saturday in Greensboro. Lambert's father-in-law, Dick Shelton, father of country star Blake Shelton, died Tuesday in Oklahoma.
Dick Shelton had been in declining health for several months.
Lambert's concert at Charlotte's Bojangles' Coliseum has been rescheduled for next Wednesday, Jan. 25. Tickets for Thursday's date will be honored next Wednesday, tour promoters say.
The Greensboro concert is re-set for Feb. 19, and her Lexington show will take place Feb. 26.
"This is a really difficult time for our family, and the most important thing is being together," Lambert said in a news release. "Tell your loved ones you love them. See you next week."
Next Wednesday's concert in Charlotte will mark the resumption of her "On Fire" tour.
