NEA gives grant to Charlotte’s Gantt Center

Charlotte’s Harvey B. Gantt Center for African American Arts + Cultural Center was awarded $40,000 by the National Endowment for the Arts to help digitize its John & Vivian Hewitt Collection of African-American Art. The grant, part of $74.85 million awarded nationwide, will go toward expanding the interactive capabilities of the website.
