These musical guests will serenade Panthers fans

In addition to a nationally televised Carolina Panthers game, visitors to Bank of America Stadium on Sunday night will get to enjoy a trio of musical performances by national recording artists.

Asheville native Caleb Johnson, the most recent winner of “American Idol,” will sing as part of the pre-game festivities.

Singer-songwriter Priscilla Renea – who wrote “Timber” for Pitbull and Ke$ha and “California King Bed” for Rihanna – will perform the national anthem.

And at halftime, Grammy-winning rock band Blues Traveler will offer a short set that should include ’90s hits like “Run-Around” and “Hook.”
