The wine tasting features a range of local, regional and national vineyards, and each ticket comes with three sample cards good for four 2-ounce samples each. The festival begins two trail races: a half marathon at 10 a.m. and a 5K at 11:15. There’ll be live music all day, including headliner John Stickley Trio at 7 p.m.

‘Beyond Craft’

The exhibition celebrates a group of 170 works of art – ceramics, fiber work, furniture, glass, jewelry and works on paper – acquired by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, in 2010.

‘Bicycling With Molière’

In this 2014 French comedy, two actors can’t agree on anything except for their shared love of Molière’s stage comedy, “The Misanthrope.” Post-film discussion led by Michèle Bissière, professor of French at UNC Charlotte.
