It’s another free-movie-pass bonanza!

The Charlotte Observer is giving away passes to special advance screenings for three upcoming films. Read on for details.

‘Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb’

Larry (Ben Stiller) spans the globe, uniting favorite and new characters while embarking on an epic quest to save the magic before it is gone forever. Opens Dec. 19.

GET TICKETS: Fifty admit-one passes for the promo screening (11 a.m. Saturday in south Charlotte) will be distributed in the main lobby of the Observer, 600 S. Tryon St., starting at 8 a.m. Friday. Limit two admit-one passes per person, while supplies last.

‘Annie’

A foster kid (Quvenzhané Wallis), who lives with her mean foster mom (Cameron Diaz), sees her life change when business tycoon and New York mayoral candidate Will Stacks (Jamie Foxx) makes a thinly-veiled campaign move and takes her in. Opens Dec. 19.

‘The Interview’

In this action-comedy, celebrity tabloid TV show host Dave Skylark (James Franco) and his producer Aaron Rapoport (Seth Rogen) land an interview with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un – then are recruited by the CIA to “take him out.” Opens Christmas Day.
