In his latest historical novel, “Nor the Battle to the Strong” ($25.95, Frederic C. Beil Publisher,) award-winning Burnsville author Charles F. Price departs from his usual 19th-century Appalachian settings to examine a little-known period of the Revolutionary War. The book focuses on Southern Continental Army Commander Nathanael Greene and lowly Private James Johnson, who was one of Price's ancestors. He'll sign books at 2 p.m. Aug. 23 at Park Road Books, 4139 Park Road.
