This year’s Bibliofeast offers a line-up of authors, books and a dinner at Maggiano’s Little Italy in SouthPark.

The event, 6-9 p.m., Oct. 12, is sponsored by the Charlotte chapter of the Women’s National Book Association, a group that supports reading, writing, independent booksellers and libraries.

This year’s lineup includes Elise Blackwell (“The Lower Quarter”); Nina de Gramont (“The Last September”); Sarah Kennedy (“The King’s Sisters: Book Three of the Cross and Crown Series”); and Hank Phillippi Ryan (“What You See”). Also on hand will be former Raleigh News & Observer book columnist and critic Peder Zane (“Off the Books: On Literature and Culture”).

Cost is $50 for WNBA members and $60 for non-members. Tickets are available by credit card at http://wnba-charlotte.org/wnba/calendar/bibliofeast-tickets/ or at Park Road Books, 4139 Park Road by cash or check or credit card.

Deadline for tickets: Friday, Oct. 9.
