Bryan Robinson to talk about new mystery novel

A name that may be familiar to long-time Charlotteans is Bryan Robinson, former resident of Dilworth, a UNCC professor and author of about 35 non-fiction books.

Robinson is also a psychotherapist, and after he moved his practice to Asheville, he started to write fiction – namely, mysteries.

On Saturday at 2 p.m., at Park Road Books, you can hear Robinson talk about the second of his Brad Pope and Sisterfriends Mystery series, “She’ll Be KILLING Round the Mountain.”

The first book in the series, “Limestone Gumption,” a “nail-biting Southern murder mystery,” was the winner of the 2015 Silver IPPY Award from the Independent Publisher Book Awards for outstanding mystery of the year, the 2015 USA Regional Excellence Book Award for Best Fiction in the Southeast region of the U.S., and the 2014 Beverly Hills International Book Award for best mystery.

Robinson is currently writing the third in the trilogy, “Michael Row the BODY Ashore.”

Robinson will also talk about his book about how to write a myster – “Don’t Murder Yourself Before Finishing Your Mystery.”

The event is free, and you’re invited.
