"The Literature of the Loray" is the program Thursday at 7:30 p.m., when Gastonia historians and preservationists Joe DePriest and Lucy Penegar discuss W.J. Cash’s “The Mind of the South,” as well as other books, plays and music inspired by and related to the famous Loray Mill Strike of 1929.
The free, public event will be held at the Kessell History Center in Loray Mill, 300 S. Firestone St., Gastonia. Light refreshments.
