In an effort to seemingly remake everything, accord to movie insider website The Wrap, Hollywood's working on remake of 80s cult classic "Big Trouble In Little China" starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

If you're saying to yourself, what is "Big Trouble In Little China," you're not alone. It was mostly a flop when it opened, making $11 million of its $20 million budget. On the commentary on the CD the star Kurt Russell says that while the show is a "cult classic" he's never seen any residual checks from the movie, so I'm not sure how many people have even seen this movie.

If you do know the show you can likely quote it extensively and have in various games and nerdy venues throughout your life. I know I have. It's one of those movies that if you love it, you can score big points with fellow nerds. But is that following enough to turn this cult classic into a new, likely expensive summer blockbuster? I guess Johnson and his team are betting it is.

Check out the exclusive The Wrap article for the particulars. And give the movie a re-watch and ask yourself: Should this be remade?
