New restaurants coming to Concord Mills
Bonefish Grill, Outback Steakhouse and Chipotle will open early next year in Concord Mills. The outlet mall said this week the restaurants will be in new outdoor spaces near entrance 2, which is between Books-A-Million and The Children’s Place.
Menu changes at Chick-fil-A
Chick-fil-A is swapping out its Asian salad with a new, spicy Southwest salad with fewer calories. And last week, the fast-food chain also introduced a new frosted coffee that will be available through May.

BLT Steak (110 N. College St.) will open for breakfast and serve Easter brunch from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. but will not be open for dinner on March 27. Reservations: 704-972-4380.

Aix en Provence (545b Providence Road) will begin serving lunch Tues. - Fri. beginning March 22 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. A three-course Easter brunch will be served here Mar. 27 for $38 per person. Reservations: 704-332-1886.

The Fig Tree Restaurant
The Fig Tree Restaurant (1601 E. 7th St.) is marking their 11 years in business with a series of 11 charitable acts. Chef Greg Zanitsch kicked off his Giving Tree series by preparing a BBQ feast at the Urban Ministry’s Soup Kitchen. Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte and Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina are among the partnerships planned for the months ahead.
