Birdsong Brewing Co.

Birdsong (1016 N. Davidson St.) will host a family-friendly fundraiser for the Lily Sarah Grace Fund, 1-3 p.m. Sunday; $1 of every pint purchased during the event will go toward bringing the arts to Charlotte schools.

The Secret Chocolatier

The Secret Chocolatier (11318 N. Community House Road) – together with Growler USA and storyteller Faye Fulton – will host “A Meeting of the Crafts: Beer, Chocolate and Storytelling” June 18. Three craft beers will be paired with a dessert or chocolate for $25. Reservations: 704-323-8178.

Hooters has unveiled a new “beach food” menu featuring five new seafood entrees. The menu is available through July 10 and includes a blackened mahi sandwich and Baja fish tacos. Locations:


Area locations of Shoney’s are offering new cheeseburgers in an “American Icon Tribute” this summer. The Steakhouse Burger, Ham & Cheddar Burger and Patty Melt will be available through July 24. Locations:

BLT Steak

BLT Steak (110 N. College St.) has kicked off a summer cocktail series featuring Lenny Boy Brewing’s kombucha. The Kombucha Mule – made with ginger syrup and muddled raspberries – is available now; expect cocktails made with rose and mint kombucha later this summer.


Fahrenheit (222 S. Caldwell St.) is offering $85 gift cards for $45 for a limited time. Gift cards do not expire; limit of 10 per customer.
