Palm Restaurant

The Palm (6705 Phillips Place Court) will offer a peppercorn-crusted filet mignon topped with wild mushroom and lump crabmeat butter for $65 Friday-Sunday for Father’s Day. Reservations: 704-552-7256.

JJ’s Red Hots

Both locations of JJ’s Red Hots (1514 East Blvd. and 15105 John J. Delaney Drive) will offer a free hot dog for dads on Father’s Day. Dine-in only; limit one hot dog per dad.

Hickory Tavern

Area locations of Hickory Tavern will offer a Father’s Day feast on Sunday: a Delmonico rib-eye, loaded baked potato, salad, cheesecake and a soft drink for $25.50. Dads will also receive a $10 coupon for their next visit. Locations: www.hickorytavern.com.

Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House

Del Frisco’s (4725 Piedmont Row Drive) will be open 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m. on Father’s Day, offering a prime pair menu with a crab cake and choice of filet or salmon for $59, plus its full menu. Ruth’s Chris Steak House

Ruth’s Chris in SouthPark (6000 Fairview Road) honors dads Sunday with a special menu featuring a cowboy rib-eye with lobster mac and cheese for $70. Brunch will be offered 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Reservations: 704-556-1115.

Wayback Burgers

Wayback Burgers (929 Park Center Drive, Matthews) will kick off summer by giving one free junior black and white milkshake to guests on Monday; no purchase necessary.

Heirloom Restaurant

Heirloom (8470 Bellhaven Road) will host Father’s Day brunch with whiskey and beer specials 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Sunday. A cocktail class will be offered 1-3 p.m. June 25: three craft cocktails and bites are $50 per person, or $90 per couple. At 6 p.m. June 26, Heirloom hosts Carolina Shock, a comparison of old world wines and N.C. wines, with small plates and a taste of six wines for $50. Reservations: 704-595-7770.

Aqua e Vino

Aqua e Vino (4219 Providence Road) hosts a Tutti al Mare wine dinner Monday. Five courses and wines inspired by seaside regions are $65. Reservations: 704-364-4445.

Corkbuzz

Dine Out for Kids
