Irish all day at Galway Hooker

From the Galway Hooker’s Facebook page

Starting with “kegs and eggs” at 8 a.m., the Galway Hooker in Cornelius will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day throughout March 17. Drink specials and live music are also planned.

The restaurant and Irish pub will donate a portion of proceeds to Ace and TJ’s Grin Kids, which aims to help kids who are terminally ill or chronically handicapped. The place, named for Ireland’s Galway Bay and a style of traditional fishing boat, was brought in pieces from Ireland and rebuilt here.
