Chef Kyle McKnight hosts a yearly “Kyle and Friends” chef dinner at Highland Avenue in Hickory, and this year’s, on March 23, will benefit the Hickory Soup Kitchen.
Joining him will be Sam Stachon, also from Highland Avenue; Todd Woods, chef de cuisine at Seven Sows in Asheville; executive chef Stephen Sharp from Ink and Elm in Atlanta; chef de cuisine Chris Edwards from Salamander Resort and Spa in Middleburg, Va.; pastry chef Rebeca Alvarado Parades and executive chef Jameson Chavez from manna in Wilmington; chef/owner James Doss from Rx and Pembroke's in Wilmington; and chef/owner Jason Smith from 18 Seaboard, Harvest 18 and Cantina 18 in Raleigh-Durham.
