ROCKSALT’s first wine dinner will be July 14, a Franco-centric menu for Bastille Day where “we’ll put on a show,” writes chef Jay Pierce, “from sabering the bubbly to the entree being an entire spit-roasted lamb.”

On the rest of the menu: fennel clam shooters and lamb pate with Louis de Grenelle Corail Rosé Saumur; black truffle vichyssoise with potato skins and Clos Saint Jean Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc; crepes des lapin (rabbit!) with chanterelles and Jean Francois Merieau Gamay Touraine; and more.

$95; 512 Brandywine Road; 704-503-9945. (Also up: a new menu with more small plates and less expensive lunch prices.)

Coming up at Foxcroft Wine Co. is a five-course La Rioja Alta wine dinner July 14, with courses such as salt cod fritter with 2013 Lagar de Cervera Albarino; chorizo and squid-stuffed paquillo with 2005 La Rioja Alta Vina Ardanza Reserva; braised pork shoulder with 2004 La Rioja Alta Gran Reserva 904 and more. $75. 7824 Fairview Road; reservations 704-365-6550.

Sullivan’s Steakhouse adds for summer (through Sept. 7) a 6-ounce filet mignon and half Maine lobster for $45. Also on a new summer list: broiled halibut, heirloom tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad, peanut butter black bottom pie. 1928 South Blvd.
