Corkbuzz hosts a winemaker dinner Sept. 20 with Maria Sinskey of Robert Sinskey Vineyards, whose wines draw from 100 percent organic biodynamic grapes and whose philosophy is described as “wine is not an athletic event.” (I know, right?) The menu begins with herbed rabbit sausage with fermented Brussels sprouts and Pinot Noir Vin Gris ’14, Los Carneros, and follows with carrot pappardelle and confit pork shoulder with Carneros Pinot Noir ’12, Los Carneros; pheasant with cherry chocolate sauce and POV ‘10 (a signature Sinskey blend), Napa Valley; and grilled vanilla brioche with caramel custard, raisin chutney, rum anglaise and Abraxas ’13, Scintilla, Sonoma Vineyard.
