“Forever Young” is the name of the Duke Mansion’s Halloween party Oct. 30, which will also be an ’80s prom. (There is a lot going on here.) Food will include a taco station (ahi tuna, blackened shrimp, pulled chicken), a slider station, a carving station for beef tenderloin, a tater tot bar and dessert station. Live music and both live and silent auctions are planned, and guests can come in costume or “your prom finest”; the event benefits the preservation of the Mansion at 400 Hermitage Road, built in 1915. $75 ($25 tax-deductible); http://dukemansionprom.eventbrite.com or 704-714-4453.
