What to Watch on Wednesday: Finales for ‘American Gothic,’ ‘Tyrant’

American Gothic (9 p.m., CBS) – Season 1 closes out with two episodes. First, the Hawthornes seek police help as a killer taunts them. Later, the family gathers for election day and they try to identify the killer. No word on renewal.

NOVA: 15 Years of Terror (9 p.m., UNC-TV) A look at the psychology of a terrorist and the tools used by governments to thwart their efforts.

Mr. Robot (10 p.m., USA) – Elliott wonders if Mr. Robot has been lying to him, and Darlene attempts to do the right thing.

Tyrant (10 p.m., FX) – In the Season 3 finale, Barry and Molly are on the brink of war with the Caliphate. No word on renewal. UPDATE: FX just canceled “Tyrant.”

Running Wild with Bear Grylls (10 p.m., NBC) – Bear takes Spice Girl Mel B on the two hundred-foot cliffs of the Welsh coastline, where a descent sends Mel into breakdown mode. When Bear is stung by a jellyfish, Mel must administer first aid.
