What to Watch on Monday: ‘Love It or List It’ in Raleigh’s Mordecai

Love It or List It (9 p.m., HGTV) – This is the episode with the Raleigh couple featured in Saturday’s N&O. Greg Sims and Rodolfo DeMartino have a house in Mordecai that gets a basement remodel. Will they sell it or stay put? Note: The show is spending the entire season in Raleigh, so you best hit “series record” on your DVR.

American Genius (10 p.m., National Geographic) – A new series that chronicles competitions in innovation that pit histories brightest minds against each other. The first episode looks at Steve Jobs vs. Bill Gates. At 10, it’s the Wright Brothers vs. Glenn Curtiss.

The Whispers (10 p.m., ABC) – In the opener of this new series, FBI child specialist Claire Bennigan investigates when an imaginary friend persuades children to play dangerous games.

UnReal (10 p.m., Lifetime) – The premiere of a new series about a young staffer at a dating competition show tasked with manipulating relationships among contestants to get more dramatic footage for the show.
