The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (11 p.m., Comedy Central) – Losing David Letterman and Jon Stewart within a few months of each other is almost too much for us TV fans. But sadly, tonight’s “Daily Show” is the final one with Stewart at the helm (Trevor Noah steps in as host on September 28). Details about Stewart’s finale are being kept quiet (it’d be great to see some former correspondents like Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell and Ed Helms), but we do know it’ll run at least 50 minutes, so for those going to bed early (or those just wanting to preserve the memories), adjust your recording devices accordingly.

Also on tonight . . .

Project Runway (9 p.m., Lifetime) – Season 14 debuts with new designers who have just three minutes to find their fabric.

Complications (9 p.m., USA) – Det. Holden forces John to testify against the gang, drawing its ire.

Dates (9:30 p.m., CW) – In the finale (mostly likely series) David asks Mia to meet his children, causing her to worry that things are moving too quickly.

Rectify (10 p.m., Sundance) – Daniel tries to repair the damage he did to the pool, while Daggett reveals a surprising theory about George Melton’s death, and Tawney visits her former foster mother.

Under the Dome (10 p.m., CBS) – A resistance forms against Christine, who is organizing an excavation project in the caves.

Rookie Blue (10 p.m., ABC) – When Sam and Andy discover that Oliver is the prime suspect in the evidence room bombing, they are determined to clear his name.
