What to Watch on Monday: Oscar-winning documentary on HBO

A Girl in the River: The Price of Forgiveness (9 p.m., HBO) – This won an Oscar for Best Documentary Short on Sunday. The film is about honor killings in Pakistan, told from a survivor’s point of view. Saba, an 18-year-old girl, was shot and thrown in a river by her own family for secretly eloping with her lover – and lived to tell the tale.

Jane the Virgin (9 p.m., CW) – After getting back together, Jane regrets having left Michael, and Petra is concerned when Rafael seems to return to his playboy ways.

Lucifer (9 p.m., Fox) – Lucifer gets help from an unlikely source while trying to find the contents of his stolen container.

Bates Motel (9 p.m., A&E) – In the Season 4 premiere, Norma searches for Norman, who finds himself in unfamiliar surroundings.

Damien (10 p.m., A&E) – This new series puts a twist on the old “Omen” movies. In this iteration, a war photographer named Damien Thorn has a traumatic experience while on assignment in Syria and has to face the fact that he is the Antichrist.
