What to Watch on Friday: ‘Animal Storm Squad’ rescues pets in disasters

Animal Storm Squad (10 p.m., Nat Geo Wild) – Karissa Hadden, a vet tech who founded the charity Never Stop Saving Animal Disaster Rescue Transport, is the host of this new series, which follows a team of meteorologists, storm chasers and animal experts who rescue trapped and injured pets, particularly during natural disasters. In the first episode, the team rescues lost animals from a wildfire.
